Enjoy a guided hike through Fernbank Forest. The Morning Hike will celebrate the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Topics vary each time and may include birding, tree identification, wildflowers and more. 

Cost: $10 for members/$20 for nonmembers 

General Admission not included.

Things to know before you visit:

  • Hikes take place rain or shine, except in the event of hazardous weather. Be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly. 

  • The hike is two hours long, weather permitting.
  • The forest terrain is uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
  • This hike is not suitable for strollers.
  • In case of inclement weather or not receiving the minimum number of registrations, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Fernbank will email registered participants the day prior to the scheduled hike to alert guests to the cancellation and issue a refund.

Members must Register/Sign in to receive the member discount. Discount will be taken off automatically once ticket(s) are added to the cart. 

Tickets are nonrefundable.

Tickets are subject to sales tax and a processing fee and are nonrefundable. The processing fee helps us provide efficient ticketing services and invests in Fernbank's non-profit mission. Our work includes free programming and educational programming for visitors, students, and the broader community.
