Program-Littlest Explorers

This event is no longer on sale.

Thursday October 7

9:00 AM  –  10:00 AM

Each week, participants will meet for a 30-minute private program followed by exploration time in one of Fernbank’s exhibits prior to the museum opening to daily guests. The programs in this series include sensory and exploratory activities, stories and crafts designed to stimulate young minds and bodies and lay the foundation for learning about science and natural history. Themes change weekly and include:

  • Oceans – Uncover the mysteries of the ocean and discover some of its most unusual creatures.
  • Nocturnal Animals – Explore the animals of the night and get up close and personal with one of Fernbank’s own nocturnal animal ambassadors.
  • Music – Discover the world of music and then make some music of your own as part of our Fernbank band.
  • Engineering – Learn about shapes and how engineers put them to work to build some of the most amazing things.

This 4-week series is for toddlers between 18 months and 3 years with their adults. The group will meet once weekly on Thursdays from 9am to 10am. Please meet in the museum lobby at 8:45 AM on the first date of your series.

As a reminder, all Fernbank COVID procedures must be followed during the program.

Activities may be subject to change without notice.
