General Admission-Gift Ticket (Valid One Year)

 

Gift tickets include daytime access to all indoor museum exhibits, one movie in the Giant Screen Theater, plus outdoor nature experiences in WildWoods and Fernbank Forest. 

Each gift ticket is redeemable for one, adult, child or senior admission ticket. Gift tickets are valid one year from the date of purchase: Monday through Sunday during regular business of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last entry at 4 p.m.).  Tickets are not valid for Fernbank After Dark, Wildwoods: AGLOW or any other after-hour special event.


No refunds or expiration date extensions.  Not replaceable if lost or stolen.

Children's Birthday Party

Host your child's birthday party with the world's largest dinosaurs! Birthday Party packages are $400 for members (Family Explorer level and higher) and $450 for non-members.  Members must sign in/register to verify an active membership in order to receive the discount.  Discount will be applied automatically in the checkout cart.  Parties can be booked on available Saturdays and Sundays, one early in the day and one later in the afternoon.

All birthday party packages include:

  • Unlimited access to Fernbank Museum and WildWoods for up to 20 guests (includes children and adults)
  • Two hours in the private party room set with guest seating and white linens
  • Use of a custom-made birthday "dinosaur throne" for the birthday child

Please print or have barcode ready to scan on your mobile device at the Museum entrance (screenshots are not scannable)­.  You will also need a photo ID and membership card for entry (must be in the member(s) name to gain entry). If you have made reservations for more people than allotted for on your membership, conversion to visitor tickets will be made at Admissions.

Fernbank Forest Night Walk

Evening Hikes 

Enjoy a guided hike through Fernbank Forest as dusk descends and evening falls. The Evening Hike will celebrate the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Topics vary each time and may include nocturnal animals, insects, spiders and more.  

Cost: $10 for members/$20 for nonmembers 

General admission not included.

Things to know before you visit: 

  • Hikes take place rain or shine, except in the event of hazardous weather. Be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly.  

  • The hike is two hours long, weather permitting. Hikes begin about one hour before sunset and end one hour after sunset. 

  • The forest terrain is uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible. 

  • This hike is not suitable for strollers. 

  • In case of inclement weather or not receiving the minimum number of registrations, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Fernbank will call and email registered participants by noon the day prior to the scheduled hike to alert guests to the cancellation and issue a refund.
