Fernbank Forest Walk-Photographic Tour

Join Photographer, Peter Essick and Fernbank's Ecologist, Eli Dickerson for a tour of Fernbank Forest. The 1.5 mile walking tour will highlight places featured in the new photography book, Fernbank Forest, by Peter Essick. Following the walk, Peter Essick and Eli Dickerson will talk about the Museum's ecological restoration efforts and the two year photography project in Fernbank Forest. Membership tickets will be verified prior to forest walk. Members will be required to present a valid membership card and photo ID. 

Space is limited to 25 people and advance reservations are required online.  Recommended for ages 14+. 

Cost: $15 members, $25 visitors.

This program is rain or shine.  Please be prepared for weather and for walking unpaved and uneven trails.  This walk is not suitable for strollers.  Learn more about "Atlanta's hidden gem," Fernbank Forest. 

Program Location: Participants should meet in the lobby 15 minutes prior to the forest walk start time, then proceed as a group to Fernbank Forest.
